Aléir, meaning happy and precious, is a story that is inspired by a father-daughter relationship. Growing up,
Jane’s father, Jet Li, would design and hand bead jewelry for her to wear. With a house full of girls, it became
his love language. As an avid precious stone collector, he was often inspired not only by the beauty, but also
by the numerous cultural, historical, and spiritual meanings each stone embodied. As a result, each piece was
infused with meaning and became symbolic tokens of love which came in handy when it came to distance
and time apart.

Aléir is a continuation of that love story where Jane hopes to share beaded tokens of beauty, art, meaning,
and gift giving.
